As a Wall Street wisecracker, a suburban smart Alec, and the black-sheep of a blue-blood family, Sue is the ultimate outsider trapped on the inside. Sue is smart and sassy and loves to make people laugh with her irreverent and often silly perspectives on the absurdity of cube-life, parenting, keeping up with her ’Sex in the City’ single friends, and the trials and tribulations of being ‘all grown-up’ … but not. Sue’s act is appropriate for any audience – you could even bring your grandmother— provided she has a good sense of humor. Sue has honed her comedic talents by studying and performing with the best in the business including Boston’s Improv Asylum and comedy veterans like David Cross, Tony V, DJ Hazard, Paul Nardizzi, Bill Braudis, Jim Lauletta,Tommy Dunham and Kevin Knox. Sue has also opened in theaters across New York, and New England for motivational humorist Loretta LaRoche. In addition to pure comedy, Sue is an inspirational speaker who trains teams and organizations on how humor can boost morale, turbo-charge innovation, build brand and turn customers into raving fans. Sue has performed all over New England and in New York City at the Gotham Comedy Club. Most recently, Sue appeared on ABC News and was seen on TV in Nick at Nite’s ‘America’s Funniest Mom’ contest. Sue is the co-producer and writer of “Open Mike”, a situation-comedy about comedic inspiration that was recently submitted to F/X and Comedy Central. Sue has been featured in The Boston Globe, The Seattle Times, More Magazine, and in USA Today. A Sue Burton show is always a rollicking-good time. Any use of props is purely accidental.
